1-story wood frame unoccupied house.
Cause & Origin/Damage Estimates
The origin and cause of this fire remains under investigation by the Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force. Damages estimates were set at approximately $30K.

Incident Synopsis
Neighbors called the CFD 911 center just before 6:00 am Monday morning reporting a house on fire on Washington Ave. Members of the CFD arrived on scène at this 1-story working house fire near Oaklawn Ave to report heavy fire conditions coming from the rear area of this un-occupied home. It took the members of the CFD under 20 minutes to control the fire and no injuries were reported. The owner who was away when the fire broke out arrived later on scene to work with Fire Investigators to determine the cause that remains under investigation.
